Your Mission

Ready to transform the security and performance of our networks? As a Network and Security Administrator at Nemaska Lithium, you’ll play a key role in our IT team. Picture yourself turning every technical challenge into a strategic victory! Under the leadership of our IT Director, you will be the backbone of managing, maintaining, and optimizing our network infrastructure. Your mission? Deploy security solutions that will protect our sensitive data from any threat.

Your Daily Responsibilities

Network Management:

  • Install, configure, and maintain network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.).
  • Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues.
  • Ensure the availability and reliability of local (LAN), wide-area (WAN), and wireless networks.

System Security:

  • Implement and manage security solutions (firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS).
  • Monitor and analyze security events to identify and respond to threats.
  • Manage user access and maintain security policies in line with industry standards.
  • Conduct regular security audits and propose improvements to strengthen system security.

Maintenance and Support:

  • Perform regular backups of critical data and ensure restoration in case of incidents.
  • Provide technical support to internal users for network and security-related issues.
  • Document network configurations, procedures, and security incidents.

Technology Watch

  • Stay informed about the latest trends in network security and emerging threats.
  • Propose innovative solutions to enhance the company’s network infrastructure and security practices.

Required profile

Your Qualifications

  • Significant experience in network administration and IT security.
  • In-depth knowledge of network technologies (TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, etc.) and network equipment.
  • Degree in Computer Science.
  • Proficiency with security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus, etc.).
  • Actively promote values of health and safety, ethics, diversity, and inclusion.
