Job Description

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, in the context of the start-up and production of a major mining project, the incumbent will actively participate in the talent acquisition process and in the development of workforce attraction and retention strategies.


  • Manage the full cycle of the recruitment process, including job posting, screening resumes, selecting candidates, scheduling and conducting interviews, coordinating assessments and tests, checking references, drafting letters of offer and coordinating new employee on-boarding;
  • Participate in the creation and implementation of innovative and attractive strategies for recruiting and retaining top talent in line with the company’s development and expansion strategy;
  • Proactively develop and maintain a network of potential candidates (social networks, corporate events, career days, networking days) and promote the employer brand to our future talent;
  • Conduct research with various media (websites, including LinkedIn, professional associations and specialized sites) to improve the visibility of job postings and facilitate their filling;
  • Carry out any other task or mandate at the request of his immediate superior.

Required profile


  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial relations, human resources management or other relevant training;
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role;
  • Mining experience an asset;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Ability to manage stress and juggle multiple files;
  • Show initiative, be autonomous and have good work organization;
  • Very good computer skills, including social networking and Microsoft Office suite;
  • Bilingual French and English, spoken and written.
