Job Description

Your Mission

Under the leadership of the Senior Risk Management Administrator, the Risk Management Advisor plays a key role in implementing the risk management program at all levels of the organization. They support, train, and advise tactical and operational decision-makers on risk matters while keeping the risk registers up to date. They are responsible for coordinating risk analysis workshops, identifying stakeholders, conducting these workshops, and ensuring they are carried out effectively. The individual actively contributes to promoting a risk-aware culture within the company and ensures the continuous updating of operational risks.

Your Daily Responsibilities

  • Facilitate risk and business impact assessment workshops.
  • Develop and maintain risk registers and treatment action plans.
  • Support the Health and Safety, Environment, and Quality groups in assessing and consolidating operational risks.
  • Ensure periodic review of the organization’s risk portfolio and produce relevant reports.
  • Support the development of business continuity plans and ensure their deployment.
  • Provide expertise, advice, and instructions on risk management as needed.
  • Train key personnel in risk assessment and control techniques.
  • Identify improvement
  • opportunities related to the risk management approach and advise the organization accordingly.
  • Support the development of a risk-based decision-making approach and contribute to the organization’s risk culture.
  • Represent the organization on various committees as a risk management expert.
  • Undertake all tasks and responsibilities inherent to the role or as may be assigned.

Required profile

Your Qualifications

  • University degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or other related fields.
  • 4 to 10 years of relevant experience in risk management in an industrial environment, ideally in the chemical or mining industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO 31000 and/or COSO guidelines.
  • Actively promote the values of health and safety, ethics, diversity, and inclusion
